Former Paramore band members Josh and Zac Farro have posted video snippets of their new band Novel American.  

The brothers departed Paramore in December last year blaming the split on tensions within the band.

Drummer Zac Farro has joined his guitarist brother Josh's new band Novel American.  

Josh Farro created the band after the brothers left Paramore in December.  Initially Tyler Ward was set to drum for the new group, but after deciding to leave the band Zac became the obvious replacement.

Former Paramore guitarist Josh Farro has spoken in an interview for the first time since leaving the band.  

The guitarist left with his brother Zac Farro in December who wrote a blog shortly afterwards which was critical of his former bandmates.  

In an interview with MTV News, Farro said "I think liberating is a great word for how I've felt over the last month."

Work has began on the new Paramore album, the first without recently departed band members Josh and Zac Farro.
