Jack White In Talks To Work On Kinks Musical
Jack White is reportedly in talks to work on a movie-musical based on The Kinks.
According to Screen Daily, White has been approached to re-record the music for the Kinks 1976 concept album Schoolboys In Disgrace, which is also the title of the movie. The film is to be directed by Bobcat Goldthwaite while The Kinks singer Ray Davies will act as executive producer.

Kinks Guitarist Says They'll Never Reform
Dave Davies, the guitarist from The Kinks, has stated that the band will never reform.

Bass Player From The Kinks Dies
The Kinks original bass player, Pete Quaife, has died at the age of 66.
Quaife played with the band from when they formed in 1961 until he left in 1969. The cause of death at this stage is unknown, however he had been undergoing kidney dialysis for the past decade.
