Flavor Flav from Public Enemy has defended his daughter after she was arrested and accused of beating him up.

Flavor Flav from Public Enemy is opening a chain of fried chicken restaurants called Flav's Fried Chicken.

The flagship restaurant of the chain opened in Clinton, Iowa on Monday. Flavor Flav came up with the idea after befriending Las Vegas restaurateur Peter Cimino.  The rapper, who earned a culinary degree in 1978, had cooked the Cimino some chicken.

Public Enemy are set to record a new album which has been funded by their fans.  

Through the site Sellaband, Public Enemy have had $75,000 (US) invested by fans to produce a new album.  Originally Public Enemy were aiming for $250,000, but later reduced the figure.
