Kid Rock has gone on the attack against Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler for becoming a judge on American Idol.  

Kid Rock told Entertainment Weekly "I think it's the stupidest thing he's ever done in his life.  He's a sacred American institution of rock 'n' roll, and he just threw it all out the window. Just stomped on it and set it on fire. I love him to death, but I gotta speak the truth."

Kid Rock has been ordered to pay $35,000 to three men he fought with outside a Los Angeles hotel in 2006.



The men filed a suit against Kid Rock where they initially demanded $15 million from him.  



They claimed the musician along with three members of rap group Boo-Yaa Tribe assaulted them.

Kid Rock appeared in a Los Angeles court on Friday regarding assault charges.

Michael Medlin, Jose Perez and Carlos Bonilla allege that Kid Rock, real name Robert Ritchie, attacked them in 2006 at the Roosevelt Hotel after they asked for autographs.  They also claim that members of the hip hop band Boo Yaa Tribe were also involved in the attack.  

The three fans are seeking $15 million dollars…
