This season's judges for American Idol have been finalised.  

The show will see Randy Jackson joined by Jennifer Lopez and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler.

The announcement during a glitzy show hosted by Ryan Seacrest.  This will be the tenth season of American Idol and the first without Simon Cowell as a judge.

Jennifer Lopez has left her record company Epic, which is part of the Sony Music Group.
