Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi has revealed that work on the band's new album is going well despite undergoing chemotherapy as part of his cancer treatment.

Black Sabbath have responded to drummer Bill Ward's statement that he might not take part in the band's upcoming reunion.  

Ward had commented that he would not be part of the reunited Black Sabbath unless he was presented with a "signable contract."  Now the remaining members; Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler have assured fans the reunion will still go ahead.

Geezer Butler has ruled out any possible reunion featuring the original members of Black Sabbath.  

Butler recently released a statement which read "I would like to make it clear, because of mounting speculation and rumours, that there will be definitely NO reunion of all four original members of Black Sabbath, whether to record an album or to tour."
