It's thought that over 50,000 fans will brave the rain for the Foo Fighters show at Western Springs tonight.  

Opening the show will be New Zealand band Cairo Knife Fight, followed by Canadian hardcore punk ensemble Fucked Up, and then Jack Black's Tenacious D before the Foo Fighters hit the stage.

Cairo Knife Fight have been named to open for Foo Fighters Auckland show onh December 13th at Western Springs.  

Along with Fucked Up and Tenacious D, the kiwi band will open the show for what is expected to be the biggest concert held in New Zealand for 2011.  It's thought about 55,000 fans will turn up.
