U2's 360° Tour Highest Grossing Of 2011

U2's 360° tour has been named the highest grossing tour of 2011 

According to Billboard the tour earned the four piece band $293,281,487 and saw them play to 2,887,972 people at 44 sold out shows around the world, 2 of which took place at Auckland's Mt Smart Stadium.  

Bon Jovi came in second grossing $192,947,951 while Take That took out third with $185,175,360.

Richie Sambora From Bon Jovi Enters Rehab

Guitarist Richie Sambora has been forced to pull out of an upcoming Bon Jovi tour so he can enter rehab.  

Sambora will enter undisclosed facility where he is seeking treatment for alcohol addiction and exhaustion.

Lady Gaga Named Highest Earning Artist Of 2010

Billboard have named Lady Gaga the highest earning pop star of 2010.  

The singer racked in more than $30.5 million (US) last year.  Bon Jovi came in second place with $30.4 million, with Roger Waters of Pink Floyd fame coming in at number 3 with $24.4 million.

Bon Jovi Change Of Auckland Venue

Bon Jovi's Auckland concert on December 5th has changed venues from Mt Smart Stadium to the Vector Arena.  

Promoter Paul Dainty commented "When we planned the tour we believed we could move the huge Wellington outdoor show to Auckland overnight but with the sheer scale of their show this has proved unachievable. We have been forced to move the 5th December show indoors to Vector Arena."
