Fu Manchu are heading to New Zealand this April where they will perform shows in Auckland and Wellington.  

The band will play Wellington's San Francisco Bath House on April 27th and Auckland's The Studio on April 28th.  

San Francisco band Black Cobra have been confirmed as special guests while local lads Beastwars are set to open the shows.

Big Day Out 2012

January 20th: Mt Smart Stadium, Auckland

Yesterday marked the final time that Auckland would host a Big Day Out. Mt Smart Stadium has been home to the festival every year since 1994 (with the exception of a year off in 1998) and the wheels were in motion to make sure that the event went out in style.

Big things seem to be instore for Beastwars.  After grabbing the opening slot for the Melvins and High On Fire in Auckland, Beastwars released their debut self titled album earlier this week.  And when we rang and spoke to drummer Nathan Hickey last week, he had some great news to tell us.  They'd just been confirmed as support for the Kyuss Wellington show!
