Beyonce Becomes A Mum

Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z have become proud parents of a baby girl.  

The 30 year old singer gave birth on Saturday in a private wing of Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan by caesarian section.  

Reports are coming in that the baby girl has been named Ivy Blue Carter.  Friends of the pop star have congratulated the couple on Twitter.  Rihanna tweeted "Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih", while Gwyneth Paltrow wrote "Welcome to the world Blue! We love you already."
