Florence And The Machine's 'Ceremonials' Perfect For The ipod Generation
Florence Welch from Florence And The Machine thinks their new album 'Ceremonials' is perfect for the ipod generation.
Talking with ETOnline about the album, Welch explained "My main goal was to make an album sound like an album, not a collection of songs," she explains. "I think this album is definitely kind of a reflection of like having an iPod...I think the album is almost like a reflection of that, of being a part of that generation."
She added "Just picking bits from soul, bits from even like hip hop influences and it's that mix of styles that really influences me."
Florence And The Machine are set to play one New Zealand show on May 28th at the Vector Arena in Auckland. Ticketmaster pre-sales for the show start at 2PM today.
