U2 Achtung Baby Tribute Album Released

Media Release - U2's classic album Achtung Baby, which is seeing its 20th anniversary this year, has been given a complete overhaul by a plethora of star studded artists, all in the name of charity.

It's called (Ǎhk-to͝ong Bāy-Bi) Covered, and it's really hard to search for on Google.

The unique album features Nine Inch Nails, Patti Smith, Depeche Mode, Jack White, The Killers and others performing U2's classic songs, and is available for download worldwide exclusively on the iTunes Store with all proceeds to benefit Concern Worldwide's work in famine-stricken areas of East Africa.

This year has seen a flurry of interest in the seminal band's seminal album. With a deluxe re-issue and a documentary about its creation (From The Sky Down) being in demand around the world.

With the support of iTunes, the Independent Online Distribution Alliance (IODA) and all of the participating artists, managers & labels, all proceeds from the sale of (Ǎhk-to͝ong Bāy-Bi) Covered, will support Concern's response to the East Africa crisis, where thousands of children have already died of hunger or related diseases and over 10 million people remain at risk.
