MGMT Are Sorry For Their Latest Album

Small

First MGMT apologised for their latest song Flash Delirium.  Now they are apologising for their new album.

The recording, Congratulations, is being released without any singles or hits, and the band admit they were suprised their record label (Sony) allowed them to release it.

Andrew VanWyngarden from the duo told British paper The Guardian "They [Sony] were happy that it was creatively...you know, we put time and effort into it and made something they were really proud of. At the same time, I think they were a little perplexed as to how to market it."

Ben Goldwasser added "We don't understand why anyone let us do this. We're both sorry."
